Pucks are Flying at Top Shelf!

We are very excited to announce the addition of a bar and restrooms as part of the rink remodel and expansion. Top Shelf will be located upstairs in Verona Ice Arena‘s mezzanine. We have already received our liquor license, so you‘ll be able to enjoy a tasty beverage in time for pre-season skates, if not sooner.

Top Shelf will feature a bar with integrated custom hockey pucks. For $250 per puck, you can choose from a variety of designs and have your name (or child‘s name or business) printed on a puck to be placed in the new bar. There is a limit of 250 pucks! Get yours now, and take advantage of this opportunity to have your name be part of the new space. There are 8 options to choose from, or you can supply your own puck (approval required). Payment is due at time of purchase. The money from puck sales will go toward the mezzanine updates at Verona Ice Arena.

Top Shelf will be a great addition to the Verona Ice Arena for many years to come. Please come and enjoy yourself in this space during youth practices and games.

VIA Rink 2 Expansion Project & Fundraising

Ice Inc has raised over $6.3 Million out of $8 Million!

Construction is well underway.... Target date for opening is early December 2023

The second sheet of ice will have the following amenities:

40,000 Sq Ft, with NHL size rink
Verona High School Team Room
Edgewood High School Team Room
Additional custom Team Room
4 Community Team Rooms
Girls' changing room
Men, women, and family restrooms
ADA compliant, Elevator
Upstairs open viewing area
Off-ice training space
Expanded Zamboni and mechanical rooms
Referee room
Concessions/Bar Area
60+ new parking stalls & Drop-Off Lane

Equipment Donations

Verona Wildcats Youth Hockey offers an equipment rental program for skaters new to hockey. As you find outgrown or extra gear lying around, we will gladly accept any donations.

If you have items to donate, please contact the Equipment Director to arrange drop off.

Submissions should include a title for the article, the body of the article, and a picture or graphic. Submissions will be considered for relevance to the Verona Wildcats Hockey program. Submissions can include, but are not limited to, tournament results, community outreach or upcoming events that involve Wildcat hockey teams and association. Submitted article content may be edited prior to posting.
